The conference was delighted to welcome Toni Tolsa from Out of Africa Finland together with Saija, his wife, and Minna and Kaisa. It was a great time of teaching, of practical, and of fellowship - and lots of fun too.

| There was the BIG birthday of Jan Andersen to be celebrated, an Irish ceilidh to be enjoyed, and a FULL Irish breakfast party at Bow Bells at Donaghadee. Between times there were walks around the Clandeboye Estate where much of the conference was happily centred, and for our Finnish friends, hosts John and Deborah Robertson treated them to a horseback trek around the Estate. Oh yes, and a spin for them too in a swish BMW convertible!

‘Was there time for any intercession?’ you might ask. Absolutely yes. Most of Toni’s teaching sessions included periods of practical worship and intercession. Hearing the testimonies of Minna, Kaisa and Saija and having their practical participation in the intercessions was so helpful to us all. Toni’s topics included: Ministering to the Lord, Basic Principles for Group Prayer Meetings, Discovering God’s Affections, The Joy of God and our Prayerlife, Intercession: What it is - with a most instructive interactive question and answer session following, Church and Churchlife and a teaching on The Greatness of God. Everyone to a person was stirred in their spirit – enlightened, challenged and inspired to lifestyle changes.

| Behind the scenes, as it were, so much work went on not just to make this conference run so smoothly, not just in the generous provision of hospitality, not just in providing an endless stream of meals and refreshments, not just in the transporting of people to and from airports and accommodations… but in making it so much fun and facilitating new friendships. We offer huge thanks to Mansi McCambridge and all the team of friends for their tireless efforts. Michael Shellswell |
